Stephen Vallance

Stephen built and sold his own legal business at the age of 48. Since then, he has been involved in various projects, including running a local music festival, building an online legal services offering and working with one of Scotland’s most prominent legal firms to expand their referral network. He also teaches ‘soft skills’ to law students at two of Scotland’s oldest law schools, and he creates and presents seminars for trainees and practising solicitors.

Currently, Stephen is Dean of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow, an institution that is over 350 years old and one that he is particularly proud to be involved with.

When he’s not working, Stephen is trying to ‘re-find’ the fitness that took him on a bicycle from Lands End to John O’Groats and to the finishing line of two Etape de tours and four marathons (not all on the same day), which isn’t easy when he and his co-hosts love their breakfast!
